BATANGAS—In effort to combat wastage, LASAC’s Malasackit Bazaar is making waves across Batangas. With its tagline, “Nakatulong ka na, nagkameron ka pa,” Malasackit Bazaar, a Lipa Archdiocesan Social Action Commission, Inc. (LASAC) program, is taking its mission to reduce the unnecessary disposal to different parishes in the province. The Bazaar offers a wide range of affordable products, including clothes, bags, shoes, toys, kitchen utensils, and furniture, all sourced from generous donations.  All proceeds from the bazaar contribute to LASAC's extensive array of programs and services, such as the Defeat Hunger Now Program, Empower Synodal Leaders Program, Build Resilient Communities Program, Recreate Sustainability Program, Get Involved Program, and Give Generously Program. Aside from visiting the bazaar in their local parishes, anyone can show their support for the program either by making purchases or donating reusable items. The bazaar is set to expand its reach to additional locations and parishes across Batangas. With Malasackit Bazaar's impactful efforts, Batangas is taking a step closer to a greener and more sustainable future.
