Description
The Lipa Archdiocese Social Action Commission, Inc. (LASAC) is the social arm of the Local Church of Lipa, Province of Batangas. It was established on 1967 and was registered at the Securities and Exchange Commission as a non-stock non-profit organization on July 17, 1989. It is likewise registered at the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) with License to Operate No.DSWD-FO IV-A-L-00051-2021.
As the humanitarian, development and solidarity agent, LASAC is mandated with the mission to reduce the gap between faith and practice in the area of social justice in order for everyone, especially the poor, to realize their temporal liberation and eternal salvation through the application of social teachings of the Church based as they are on the Gospel of the Lord Jesus.
